Kevin Shurrock -  Baritone

Kevin studies singing with Valerie.  He has sung with the Danesborough Chorus from Bedfordshire and the Christ the Cornerstone Chamber Choir in Milton Keynes.  He has performed as soloist in Handel’s Messiah, and has been engaged as soloist at weddings, a Christening and a Memorial Service.

Kevin is a founder member of Voice Versa whose repertoire includes a wide range of vocal styles.  He particularly enjoys the challenge of part-singing in a small ensemble. 

His day job is as an accountant, and he has recently qualified as a teacher of English as a foreign language.

Ann Skelly  - Mezzo Soprano

Ann studies singing with Valerie.  She has been performing with local groups across Milton Keynes since she moved here in 1992, singing in shows such as Stephen Sondheim's, Merrily We Roll Along, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods and Assassins.  She has also taken on many acting roles with local groups including pantomime witches.

Ann studied the piano and oboe at university in Surrey and is a qualified piano teacher.  By day, she works in a charity as  an IT Manager.

Simon Woodhead - Baritone

Simon has studied singing for 22 years.   He has sung extensively in Bristol and Bath, with leading roles in Bristol Opera and Bath Operaletta. In 2004 he won the Mid-Somerset Competitive Festival, and he has also been the recipient of the Arthur Jay Award.

Simon is particularly interested in Opera and the links between folk singing and Twentieth Century English Song.
